Inpatient Services

The Inpatient Program - of Washington County Mental Health Services provides psychiatric coverage to patients admitted to Central Vermont Hospital's mental health unit. The staff also offers psychiatric and/or psychological consultation to physicians who are working with Washington County Mental Health patients.

One major thrust of this program is to divert persons into a community setting who would otherwise have had been admitted to the Vermont State Hospital.
